This is Lydia van der Brugge

Beginning with Hotel Operations with the Four Seasons Hotels, Lydia has been in the business of development – developing people, programs, teams, cultures and tourism regions – for almost 30 years. Having worked in Training, Human Resources and Business Operations as Country Manager for FranklinCovey in Austria, Lydia understands deeply the personal and organizational challenges in leading people to their highest potential.

Out of a deep desire to contribute in a more meaningful way, she started to work on International Humanitarian / Development Projects, joined Leadership for Humanitarians at its initiation and took on the leadership of this social enterprise in 2014. She gets the greatest kick out of projects that combine all three of her passions: Humanitarian Development, Training and Hospitality. Her partners and clients particularly appreciate her vision, passion and ability to engage people of all walks of life, in all areas of life.

Wishing to support her passion for developing service-oriented people in the hospitality sector, Lydia founded QUANTUM Development in 2002. Quantum works with a great number of people – all professionals from the Hospitality and Development sectors, and each with their own set of remarkable skills, know-how and experiences.
